Being disabled should not mean being discriminated. We have a right to enjoy equal access... A right to travel with the same comfort anyone else does... A right to ride a bus, or drive a vehicle... A right to bring with us a service animal to a public place without being harassed or ordered out. A right to use a sidewalk and cross a street in an independent and safe way... Rights! A right to use a brile menu, or a TTY phone... Isn't why laws are made? For us to have the right to live our life to the fullest extent posible within our disability. We exist to enforce the ADA. That is the short story. We are a rather unique disability rights organization. Membership is free. We do not maintain a formal listing of members. We have no newsletter and we have no publications other than our website. We are what our name says: advocates.
